Hey there -

I live in Vietnam, and I want to buy a Fender Bassbreaker 15w combo. I'm currently looking at one in the US thats a demo for ~$450, and could be delivered by a friend, versus buying one here in Asia for $750-800.

I have a step-down transformer, which will work fine for now, as I know. However, I plan on independently touring Europe at some point in the future and would like to know if this amp model is rewireable for 220v.

A step down transformer is a heavy, bulky piece of equipment that I would love to avoid carrying around with me in the future.

I have no experience working with circuitry but I'm generally competent. I know it's probably not going to be recommended, but I'm wondering if anyone here can answer these questions:

1. Is the Bassbreaker 15w combo rewireable for 220v or would I need to buy a new internal transformer?

2. Where do I learn how to perform these kinds of mods?

Not sure but curious as to why the manual's image of the back panel input power states 230V ? Does is automatically convert? If so, you may not need to worry.
