Hi y'all! I have a couple of questions about the Bassbreaker 15....
I was all set on the Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister 18 until I discovered the Bassbreakers, and I must say I believe they're an outstanding idea and look great too. I think a tweed bassman is pretty much my ideal amp (based on admittedly limited experience with amps) and the "what if" scenario played out with the Bassbreakers is pretty inspired. So well done, Fender! :D
The BB15 has the features I really like about the tubemeister - namely the effects loop and the DI out - so it was an easy sell. My main question concerns cabinet selection if I go with the head, as I'm inclined to do.
My sense is that I'd like 2 x 12 to get a bigger, or at least just more sound. So the options are the 2x12 cabinet, or two 1x12 cabinets. Being able to place two 1x12s in different orientations seems appealing to get a 3 dimensional sort of stereo sound. But how much stereo difference will there be in that case? Are the two speaker-outs on the amp head a left and a right that can be individually adjusted in any way? Can I put line-level effects between amp and cabinet?
Again, I'm a total noob here having only ever played through small practice amps before (and not very well, I should add  ) so part of the appeal of the separate head and cab(s) is the idea of being able to experiment with different configurations.
Any and all advice, feedback, etc. is very, very welcome even it's not 100% related to my cabinet question. I appreciate it all!

Oh, and by the way, my guitars at the moment are a Gibson Firebird (stock pickups, so pretty hot output) and a Danelectro 12 string. Jimmy Page is about as much distortion as I like (don't get me wrong, I'm a old school fan of Slayer and Metallica, but mucho-high-gain metal isn't really what I'm after which is another reason why I'm more interested in the BB15 than the H&K). I generally like cleaner sounds - Johnny Marr is probably my "guitar hero" - with just a little bit of breakup. And then a big ole' fuzz for when I wanna rock.

Thanks y'all
