Your Welcome :-)
Which part did you find this thread for?

Anyway, I have gotten distracted from Cyber Twin TouchOSC layouts. I hope to finish something workable for SE sometime next week. I do have the layout finished. I just have to label all the controls :-) I was getting stuck on including a SAVE button, but I think I have misunderstood how the CT SAVE button works...and I haven't figured out how to add the SAVE button to my initial TouchOSC layouts.

Also, I did try out Cyber2editor a couple of weeks back. Cyber2editor is essentially Cyber Commander. If you use Cyber2editor, ensure you have backed up your precious sounds! It is really easy to do a full, hard CT factory reset just learning to use that software. Also, with the Cyber2editor version I used, the UI has elements that say 1st and 2nd edition, but it does not support the additional tone stacks, drive circuitry, reverb timbres or types nor the extra 14 FX of the SE. Your SE will respond, but the sysex and parameter display of the UI is limited to First Edition commands only.

Well, it has a taken a little longer than I expected, yet I have finally got a couple CyberTwin remote control layouts for ipad I plan to share in the next few days. I have created single layouts that work with SE and first edition.

There is one layout for TouchOSC app and another with Midi Designer Pro 2 app. Midi Designer Pro is more expensive than TouchOSC. Midi Designer is also more powerful in various ways: can save presets on MDP2 (which you can then save as a CyberTwin program); MDP2 can connect to midi via bluetooth; "latch" functionality for sysex buttons in MDP2 =-D

TouchOSC requires a computer and wifi and doesn't do bluetooth. The wifi connection for TouchOSC is a lot less tricky to setup than MDP2. Midi Designer Pro 2 connected via bluetooth using Yamana BT-01 adapter without a computer and is pretty easy to set up.

I posted some screen shots of my CyberTwin remote control layout for Midi Designer Pro 2 over at The Gear Page where Ihave been documenting the process https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?posts/27867130/
I'd rather provide a link to TGP thsn repeat myself here.

This layout works with either CyberTwin First Edition or Second Edition or both versions at the same time. I tested the layout with both FE and SE. Program your CyberTwin(s) wirelessly with wifi or bluetooth. I haven't set up a way to download the layout yet. I'll post here once I have a live DL link :-)

Also, no need to worry about SysEx Device ID settings on you CT as the SysEx messages send to all SysEx midi channels (OMNI). I use my CyberTwins midi cc and pc on midi channel 3 and that is how I set the layout. Users can change all this stuff if they want.

cheers,
_todd

Just wanted to post that Ive got Todds interface working on my iPAD and its awesome! Its a breeze to setup and works perfectly. I have Cyber Commander working on an old laptop but this new app is great. Cant believe someone created this for CT users. Thanks Todd!!! Love my CT and now dont have to worry about losing easy access to all of the deep functionality.

Hey Brian,
thanks so much for posting here as well as over at FT :-)
also, just to clarify, I am not looking to charge for the CyberTwin ipad remote; I am just happy to share with other CT users. If you are a CT user interested, PM me :-)

I agree with bbaskinger, I always use the ipad remote with my CyberTwins. I use two CTs simultaneously, and the ipad remote gives me control over all deep parameters on both CTs at the same time...maybe the most important being the Master Volumes of both CTs with one fader.
