I love the tone and portability of the Princeton Reverb for guitar...

Is anyone using the second input simultaneously for a vocal microphone?

Will I do damage to the amp if I use it for guitar and vocal gigs in small rooms?

You won't damage anything but I doubt you'll be happy with the outcome. Better results would occur with a two-channel amp like a Deluxe Reverb where the independent volume and EQ controls yield more flexibility. Regardless, you should use a high-Z (ie: high-impedance) mic with a guitar amp.

Q1. How do you plan on connecting your mic? The adapters, which convert and connects your low impedance mic to a high impedance 1/4" inch plug, have never worked good, from my experience buying the $20 type.

A1. Try the $20 adapter made by Whirlwind, and if that doesn't work, you're looking at an active reverse DI interface.

Q2. Okay, if you get that solved, you've got the -6db signal drop in input 2 to contend with.

A2. Guitar in input 2, mic in input 1, assuming you want your voice heard over the guitar.

BETTER SOLUTION:

Go to (or order from) Guitar Center, a Kustom Personal PA (3 channels) for $99.99. SERIOUSLY!
