Hi, I'm trying to understand how the volume controls interact on a Fender Acoustasonic150 wrt to line output. My local dealer doesn't have stock so I can't directly try it out.

Situation is that in our setup, the acoustic amp is mostly used as a stage monitor. All the heavy lifting is done by the house PA. We currently have a Marshall AS50 which goes as follows:

guitar->channel volume control ->line out -> master volume -> speaker

Thus once the guitar/channel volume controls are set, the line out is constant to the PA desk. The guitarist then adjusts the master volume to give local foldback.

We are looking to replace the AS50 with a Fender Acoustasonic 150. However, it isn't clear to me where the line out fits into the chain since there is only one volume control for each channel and no master volume. So does it go

guitar ->line out->volume control-speaker or guitar -> volume control->line out/speaker

The manual doesn't make this clear.

Hope this question makes sense.

Thanks

Paul
