I think Fender might make some extra "mad" money selling "Original Equipment" Speaker Baffles with logo for their amps that remove easily like my DRRI. Then, you could have several set up to be able to swap out when you get the urge.

And as an additional feature, also include a 4-Screw (eg Celestion Vintage30) availability as well as the routine 8-Screw.

With that in mind, you cannot mount that Celestion in my DRRI Baffle without cutting/filing 4 of the screws down, correct?

Instead of cutting/filing the speaker mounting bolts and ruining the original baffle.
Why not drill the Celestion to accommodate the Fender baffle.
I'd rather lessen the re-sale value of the speaker than the re-sale value of the amplifier.
From what I've been told, there are Celestions that actually fit but are the top of the line Gold and maybe the Blue.

Or screw a new bafle inside the cabinet with only four screws.
I enough room for the speaker.

3/4 inches plywood over the original screws with the four new screws you need

An all-new baffle board can easily be built for about $100 in materials and a couple of hours of labor. And it could be configured for whatever fastener arrangement is required.

Or you might simply remove yours, pry out the staples holding the grill cloth on at the bottom and halfway up the two sides, fold the cloth out of the way, remove the offending speaker studs, then re-affix the cloth and re-install the board. About an hour's worth of labor, requiring only a phillips screwdriver and a stapler.

These are good advice.

I would not recommend to remove the grill cloth if not experimented. Not easy to put in place.

It's easier than you might think. The factory cloth will already be creased at the edges from its original installation, making alignment a snap. The job goes more smoothly if two people work together -- one to hold the cloth in the correct position, the other to handle the stapler.

That's why I mentioned two people for the job.

My wife often helps me.

On my DRRI, I was able to remove 4 of the screws without removing the grill cloth or baffle. Work carefully and patiently and it can be accomplished. That's the same advice given to me by Arjay.

Correct.

If you're very very very very very careful, it's possible to remove the mounting studs from the front with the cloth in place by *GENTLY* stretching it from the inside by using the top of your hand (leaving your fingers free to manipulate the screws) inserted through the speaker hole. The studs are reverse-threaded at the top of the shank and will need to be slightly loosened initially via a set of pliers or vise grips from the rear (stud) side. This task requires nerves of steel and balls of brass -- it's not for the faint of heart.
