I just got my brand new Blues Jr in the mail today. I fired it up but can't get any sound out of it. I have contacted the seller, but before I send it back thought I would check with this forum for troubleshooting tips. Here's what I have tried:

Different outlets
Different cables
Guitar at different volumes
Amp dials all on 5, 6, 7, etc.
Fat switch in and out
Tried a microphone (as well as a Tele)
Checked wires to the internal speaker
Checked cables to the reverb pan

The tubes glow, the power indicator turns orange - but no sound. :(

The wires that come off of the speakers turns into a 1/4 in. jack, in the back of the amp there are 2 places to plug in a 1/4 in. One is for the speaker, one is for a foot switch. Make sure the speaker is plugged in to the correct one.

Thanks, Chet. I found that the 1/4 inch jack was in the right hole but I don't think it was plugged in all the way. While I was checking wires, I also re-seated the connections on the back of the speaker. And re-seated all the tubes and did the same thing with the cables to the reverb box. Not sure exactly what did it, but when I fired it up - I was getting sound. And it is friggin' awesome. I love this amp!
