I was playing at a friends house ~ 1 week and go and after 5-10 minutes of use my amp stopped
producing sound. I looked at the back of it and the power tube (6V6GT)
was purple. I thought I had blown a tube (and might have) but after
replacing the tube I still don't have a functioning amp. I did go from
having absolutely no sound to getting an intermittent, low volume,
rusty sound . The tubes all glow and get hot and I have hooked the board up to another speaker but the
same problem still remains. Any suggestions?

The 6V6 might blow a fuse; there are 3 fuses inside the amp.
Don't trust you eyes to see if fuse is blow. Use a meter.
Replace fuse and 6V6 by a good one.
Or see a qualified tech.
