I'm only getting sound out one speaker on my princeton chorus amp. Took wires off speaker that is working on put them on the speaker that doesn't have sound it works then. Is this a problem in the chassis somewhere?

Try the wires from dead speaker to the working speaker, It should be dead, is it ?

From the Princeton DSP ;

You may have a dirty or broken contact on effect loop jacks.
Try stereo plugs as jumper in the stereo fx loop and a normal ( mono) plug as a jumper in the mono FX loop jacks.
This will bypass fx loop contacts

The Princeton Chorus's speakers are each driven by their own dedicated power-amp module. It sounds like one of yours has taken a dump. And at 15+ years old, good luck finding a replacement. Fender discontinued repair parts for these amps over a decade ago.

+1 for power module.

Also, if one contact of FX loop use to feed this power module is open, there will have no sound to this speaker.

Thanks for the reply stratele52. Do I put the stereo end jack into the send in on the stereo plug side and the other end of the mono jack to the mono return plug

Read my answer.
FX loop stereo; in and out need stereo plugs
FX loop mono ; in and out need mono plugs
Don't mix mono and stereo

Read your owner manual
