I took my Champ amp to a friends house last week and within 5-10 minutes I was getting no sounds. After inspecting the back, I noticed the power tube was purple. I thought I had blown the tube (6v6GT). I replaced the tube and I it's still not working.
-All tubes light up and get warm
- I ran the board through another speaker and still not getting anything
Also, after I replaced the power tube I went from getting absolutely no sound to getting a "scratchy and rusty" faint sound if the guitar is at higher volumes. The sound is only intermittent and comes in and out.
Any ideas Fender World?

Sounds like it is time for a trip to favorite amp tech.

If you're the original owner and bought it recently then return it.
