are there any amp circuit gurus here that could tell me whats the best way to disconnect the tremelo off my 68 CVR?
I read that the bias vary trem circuit can't just have the pot wires cut or have a new pot with cut off switch on it?

would pulling out the V5 tube be dangerous to rest of the amps circuit? or is there any other way to safely disconnect the circuit altogether?

cheers for any help!

No danger to remove any tube or all tubes and power ON a amp.
No V5 = no more tremolo

Yeah, just don't turn on the "tremolo", voila, problem solved.

Sounds like you are asking for a solution for a non existent problem. Just don't turn on the "tremolo" if you don't want to use it. What is the point of mutilating the amp, when the circuit is off unless you plug in the footswitch and turn the "tremolo" on?

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
