Blues Junior for me please. After months of evaluation on the forums, a few tests at my local music store, I came back home today with my brand new Blues Junior. A year ago I was buying on a budget so I put more money on the Strat than the amp. Strategy for a beginner. But as of today I think I finally put together a small very interesting combo. Also, there might be a H1 Tele coming soon. Thanks to those who take their time to make the Fender Forums a source of reliable information and positive inspiration (you know who you are).

Cheers.

Hello Claude Gillichand,

Congrat on the new amp.

I test drove and borrowed
blues junior's for years,
Last year I finally pulled the
trigger and got one.
For me it's one great little amp.

Cheers.

Yes I like it a lot, and I think that I'm falling in love with it. Is it what people call mojo or what?

Cheers.

I own bluesJr too...
Good choice... its a very basic straight forward no frills amp...
I get great tones out of it just plugging in direct...
There are mods out there u can do to it as well...
I haven't done that but I consider it a great addition to my arsenal of amps.

Just got mine last month... damn what took me so long... I did not even do any of the suggested mods and this thing is awesome...

I had a Marshall valve state (ok, no tubes, so maybe not a fair compare to the B.J., but I paid more for it than I did the B.J.) and no matter what i did the sound was just never good enough for me.

I can't get enough play time now... I gave my Marshall to my nephews....

Hi everyone, I'm not going to mod my Blues Junior anytime soon. I am allowing myself some time to bond with it as it sounds right now. I kind of work out things on a few months basis. You know, short term projects, long term projects. As I said, right now I am not considering any kind of intrusives mods, but, I already have a small list of "Things to do", and the first one might very well be a good quality wah in the coming months. Well right after my Tele acquisition project. Or maybe before? Well anyway it's on the "To do" list. :)

Cheers.

I'm getting a BJ as my go-to-gigs amp when I get to University, that way I can move it in and out of my dorm room really easily, and the volume will be just right for practising and small gigs!

Congrats :D . you picked a really nice amp, I have had mine for about 3 years now and I couldn't be happier with the sound, tone and reliability and mine is still stock (and it'll stay that way).

All very good to hear. These are the only types of comments I've ever heard/read about the Blues Juniors.

That's why I've a Blues Jr. NOS arriving Monday. It'll make a great companion to my Deluxe Reverb RI. (Wanted a better second than my Sons Cube 30X to stereo my Ric with and have something to take to work on the backshifts so I don't have to keep horking his. Granted it's half again the size and mass of the cube, but 3/4 that of the DRRI.)

Congrats on the choice of amp!! Since I've had mine I can't quit playing it. It becomes an addiction. Best damn amp I have ever used! And I used alot of different amps in my time. Oh, and too, it works well with effects if you use them. :D
