I recently got an Orange Micro Terror amp and was wondering if I would be able to connect it to the speaker in my Blues Junior. I have a separate cabinet that I've been using it with, but I much prefer the clean sound of the Blues Junior, so I was wondering if I could just use the blues junior as my cabinet for the Micro Terror.

Speaker impedance in the BJ is 8 ohms it match with Orange MT
BJ power output is 15 watts . Orange MT is 20 watts.

For home use, at "low" level, I say yes, otherwise no, unless somebody know speaker in the BJ are more powerful than 20 watts.

Any model number on the speaker to help find specs ?

You can buy a better and more powerful speaker for you BJ you can use with orange MT.
BJ will sound better too.

Given that the Orange is a solid state in the output section, there shouldn't be any problems, even when cranked up.

The tone will change quite a bit, obviously. The MT is not a polite amp.

I just looked at the speaker and it is a celestial G12 M Greenback. It says that it is 25 watts, to the MT's 20, and 8 ohms, just like the MT. I should be good them. So I can just unplug the 1/4" jack that goes from the speaker to the actual amp and plug it into my MT?

Also, if that is the case, the cable that comes out of the speaker is pretty short and I wouldn't be able to set the MT on top of the BJ. Would it be difficult/expensive to buy a longer cable and solder it on myself? I have soldered and re-wired guitars in the past, so I have some experience with it.

A speaker cord would do the trick. Cut one end off, use crimp connectors on the two wires to connect to the speaker.

There are male/female cables out there also to extend your amps length issue.
Heres one from sweetwater: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/S16QQF1.5

Yeah, and if tempted, don't use a guitar patch cable. While it might work (and people have done it in a pinch, like on stage), it might also melt the cable or shielding, or have so much impedance that the amp output stage burns out.

Hmm, I've never seen that before. Could I just one one of these couplers and a different speaker cable that I have instead?
