Years ago, I hooked a Bullet Reverb amp to an old Silvertone bass 212 cabinet and it produced the best sound to me of any amp I had heard. Can a Super Champ X2HD hooked to its SC112 cabinet produce nice results, can a 212 cab or two 112cabs be used, and can this amp be used as a quiet home practice amp without having to turn it up really loud? Thanks

So long as the output impedance protocols for the amp are maintained, you can safely connect a variety of speaker loads to it. IIRC, the SCXD needs an 8-ohm load. Thus two 16Ω speakers wired in parallel can be safely used, or conversely two 4Ω speakers wired in series. For a truly ballsy vibe, try four 8Ω speakers in a series/parallel configuration. I guarantee, it'll rawk your world.
