Hello. Recently brought a Bassbreaker 15 combo. The effects loop is noisy as hell, i've changed power supply, cables etc and it's definitely the amp. Is this a fault or just something that's the bassbreaker 15 is not very good at?
Thanks,

Hi,

I have the same problem. Did you solve this??

Do you think its because of daisy chaining all my Fx loop pedals ( reverb+Delay+chorus) ? I have a cheap powersupply.

I connected the reverb alone in the FX loop with the help of a battery, and there was no hum, just the Hiss like the amp was loud. May be i should try a Power pack like the Pedaltrain Voltro or something

I don't own one, but from reading various forums, this seems to be a common issue. I'd contact Fender support and see if there's a warranty fix.

Just bought a bassbreaker 15 combo, noticed the effect loop hum as soon as I got home. Tried various things before I found this forum. I thought I would share that I found a temporary fix until I can call Fender: I had a passive attenuator sitting around. I put it between my effect pedals and the return, and backed off just a bit of the volume using the attenuator. Way better. I tend to agree with the gentleman on this thread (or maybe it was the other thread, same topic) who said Fender must have put the effects loop after the master volume, with the full on effects going straight to the power section.

Cool,

Thanks for the tip. Let us know how do you get by when you call fender.

Cheers

Yeah, Mine had this same symptom straight out of the box. Turns out this is a known issue to Fender since like August of last year, and they have issued a fix. You must locate an authorized Fender tech and they will fix the amp in or out of warranty.

Cheers,
