So my previous post I was banging my head against the wall with the amp and figured out it was a bad plate load resistor (R62)...BIG SURPRISE with these amps...anyway I was putting everything back together and forgot to put in P13 and P14 the two blue wires coming from the transformer near the V5..turned it on and nopticed the jewel light wasn't on. So I looked in the back and realized I forgot to plug in those two connectors..Now it's crazy distorted and volume is extremeley low, on 12 I can talk over it. I plugged into the power amp and changed the tubes and nothing is working. Yes I have the speaker plugged into the right speaker out. Thanks in advance..

You write that you fix the amp, it was a bad plate resistor and now the amp don't not work !!!
I don't understand how can you say you fix the amp if it do not work ?

When you Power On the amp and see no indicator light, did the amp play well ? Or you Power Off without no more test ?

I forgot to plug in the wires for the tube filament heater. When the light was off it did not make any sound when I tried it. So i had the bottom pcb board out when I was repairing R62, it worked so I drained the caps, took the tubes out to reinstall the board as well as the heater filament wires...and forgot to plug those back in when I reinstalled the board. All the tubes work in another amp so I know the tubes are fine. Any idea what would have blown or been damaged by turning on the amp without those plugged in?
