Hello everyone.

I have a deville 212 iii and I was wondering if this would work. I have a rumble 410 cab and I want to connect it to the main speaker jack to power the cab so I can play bass through it vs using bass on the 12" guitar speakers. The main speaker out runs at 4ohms and the rumble 410 is 8ohm so it shouldn't damage anything right? It probably won't sound idle since the ohms arnt matched but this is just a temporary thing for at home till I get a proper bass head. I just want to make sure it won't damage anything, I won't be playing at loud volume like I said it's basically just for at home on the clean channel vol at 3-4.

Looking forward to hearing some responses

That will work, and no harm with a mismatched impedance that is within a 2 to 1 ratio, high or low. Sometimes a mismatched impedance can make a better sound, sometimes not, but certainly worth a try.
