Hey everyone, a friend gave me an "old" fender hot amp that works great, but the knobs are missing. I finally got tired of pinching the pot pegs with my fingertips to adjust things, so I bought a pack of Fender knobs (PN 0990932000). They must not be the right ones because when I turn the pot down to 0, the knob slides on pointing at 6. Can anyone tell me the correct knobs to buy. Even better, if someone could send me a link to the product page for those knobs I'd really appreciate it. Thanks all... rock on!

Thank you, I see lots of knobs available on that page, but how do I know that they will fit properly? I already order one set of Fender knobs designed to fit on a "D-shaped" shaft, but they were backwards from what I needed.

Maybe this will help...

These are the pots http://shop.fender.com/en-US/parts/amp-controls-electronics/50k-b-taper-linear-snap-in-style-potentiometer/0034719049.html#q=50k+snap+in+potentiometer&start=1

Like I said before, the knobs I ordered do fit, but they are pointing the wrong way (180 degrees from where they should). They point at 6 when the pot shaft is turned to 0.

Update: I also sent my question to support at www.amprepairparts.com

He said: That's a common problem. Fender made two styles of that black knob, and you need the 180 degree version. Only a few amp models needed the 180 degree version, and Fender discontinued those a number of years ago.

So, I guess that's that... I'll probably drill out the knobs I have and glue them on the pot shafts.

NOT a good idea. If one of your pots $hits the bed and you need to replace it, the glued knob may be a real sonofabitch to remove.

Better to create new (properly-oriented) tick marks on the knobs you bought then fill the existing (erroneous) marks with black paint.
