Hello... Just getting opinions on this. I recently replaced 2 jacks on my 1989 Power Chorus and noticed that at some point during my 80's garage band days I'd managed to heat up 2 diodes enough to cause their corresponding traces on the other side of the board to get charred up. The amp works, though it's got a bit of a hum whether in clean or dirty and gets louder/softer as I roll the volume up and down. I'm assuming that's some sort of ground issue, or possibly noise from the house wiring?

I guess my question is would replacing the diodes even be worth it at this point with as scorched as the traces are? I know resistance levels of metal change with heat so I don't know if I should just call this amp done or go ahead and swap the parts. (I also don't know if any nearby components may have been affected.)

It was a nice amp in its day for a solid state. 2x12, built in chorus, true spring reverb, etc, etc. I'd like to see it tip top if possible.
