Just got a mint Fender Hot Rod Deluxe for $400. It only had 3 hours playing time on it. My buddy sold it to me. :D I absolutely love it.

The Bruce Zinky handbuilt one off 120 watt Prosonic head I bought from Brad Whitford. Stomps the living daylights out of any Boogie rec for thick articulate high octain metal tones + has clean headroom that will rival a good Blackfaced Twin! It's one bad MOFO and will be with me untill I can no longer play!!!

Not really, I just sold my 65 Twin Reverb RI because of that reason and the big tonal difference between it and the CS 57 Twin(no reverb). It only weighs about half the weight and is all hand wired and dual rectifiers. The sound is great with the new NOS DG strat I bought to go along with it! :) 8)

I still own it: my "70's Silverface Twin. It used to be my MOM's amp. How cool is that?

The best amp I ever heard was a '60's Supra. It was about the size and shape of a Twin. I was working at A&M studios in LA in the late '80's- early '90's. The amp was played by the guitarist of a band recording in studio "B" called "Lions & Ghosts". I am sorry to say I can't remember the guitarist's name but he was a great guy.

Love,
Todd

I have only ever owned my Sidekick reverb 25 and a Marshall Mosfet... Sold the marshall years ago and some one actually complained the other day how loud it was... Just tried a 65 twin rev reissue and I'm kicking my self for what I've been missing....
