Why go through all that when all you need are ArmorAll vinyl upholstery wipes. They work great for vinyl tolex and guitar cases!
Black color looks fresh for a long time.

"Posts: 1" says it all. This is just someone who abuses the Fender Forums to get clicks and advertising revenue for his own YouTube channel.

There's a configuration for BB boards that disallows links in the first few posts anyone makes. I wish Fender would use that.

I agree with zippydog, I just stopped at a local auto-parts store and picked up a bottle of Armor All. A couple of minutes with a rag & the Armor All and the amp looks brand new. No need to post it on You-Tube. I've been using Armor All on my amps for many, many years with no problems or side effects.

For even better results than the wipes alone, try using the spray and get into the crevices of the tolex with a soft bristle brush or toothbrush. The product will wet and loosen the small particulates so the brush can dislodge them. Then the final wipe with a rag sweeps them away. Plus, the toothbrush lets you get into the corners where hardware is mounted. Things like carry handles, corner protectors, tilt legs, etc. Getting into the corners really helps in getting that like-new look.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
