Hello, I'm new to the forum but have been playing guitar for a few years. My head for my Mustang V cabinet got damaged and I have a Orange CR120H head available through a friend, but I wanted to know if they would work together. The Mustang V cab says that it has 8 ohms per side, while the Orange head has two 16 Ohm outputs wired in parallel. I don't know if that means that the Mustang V cab will only have 4 ohms when both sides are plugged in, or if it will have 16. If anyone has any answers, that would be great.

Thanks!

Bronson

I don't know thise amps, I don't read owner manuel.
With what your write;
Orange ; two 16 ohms Output in parallel mean 8 ohms speaker load if both outputs are use,
Mustang ; two 8 ohms in parallel mean 4 ohms speaker load if both outputs are use.

Google;
