Hello,

I'm interested by the bassbreaker 007 combo, but sometimes I have to play at night (I live in an appartement) and with my previous amp I used an attenuator. This probably not the perfect answer to bedroom volume but it works quite well.

In order to use my attenuator I need to unplug the speaker cable from the amp, plug it in my attenuator and plug another cable from the attenuator out to the amp speaker plug.

Ok this is obvious.. but.. but this require the Speaker cable to be NOT hardwired. and plugged to the board with a jack.. is it the case with the Bassbreaker 007 combo ? I find no details on Fender site.

Thanks in advance.

Luc

I haven't seen the amp, but the pictures do not show an internal speaker jack and the manual says the internal speaker is disconnected automatically when you use the external speaker jack. So probably the internal speaker is hard wired. I'm guessing it would be pretty easy to install an inline 1/4" jack and plug between the amp and the speaker if you want that functionality.

Likely true but bear in mind -- the moment such "tampering" occurs, the factory warranty is permanently flushed down the bidet.

Just so you know......
