Hey all, really hoping for some ray of sunshine to strike my $@! down and throw me a miracle here.

I'm currently running a 2005 Fender American Jass bass off a similarly aged amp, a Bassman 150. Bother have performed flawlessly until now. I came home from a weekend away to find my amp not performing. At all.
My bass wasn't in it's standard position.

Anyway, my brother (who's a sick guitarist, but kind of a $@!&#), plays it from time to time.. He's older and knows better than breaking things, but who knows.

The bass and cord are fine; I tried them on his amp and they're beautiful as always. The amp 'kind-of' recognizes a pre-amp signal and the LED flashes, but not for every note I play.. not even close.. and I never noticed if it's always been that way or not.

Soundwise is nothing. No buzz, no horrible noise, not even a thumpy type thing when I turn power on. Plug in the cord; still nothing. Touch it to my finger, nothing. Into the bass, nothing. The input jacks seem tight and firm, and the bass never gets moved around anymore.

Anyway, I'm kinda stressed.. Horribly stressed really. I'm broke and I loved the tone on that baby. Any and all help for troubleshooting/solutions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance all.
