I am planning to purchase a Bassbreaker 15 Combo, but was interested in reading about some of its features. Particularly the effects loop. I tried to find the manual in the documents archive, but came up with squat! Can someone point me to where I can download the manual for the above-mentioned amp?

Just go to Fender.com, click on products and drill down to the amp you are interested in. Scroll to the bottom and click support. It will be there.

Don't expect to learn much about the effects loop from the manual. "EFFECTS LOOP: Optimized for use with pedals. Connect SEND to effects input and RETURN to effects output." To solve the mystery we'll need the schematic, which does not appear to be available yet online.

What is it you want to know about the effects loop?

rtrooney had a post on another thread asking about the hum issue that some have reported with the Bassbreaker 15's effects loop. I suspect he was hoping there might be something in the owner's manual that would shed light on the issue. My apologies to rtrooney if this is incorrect and for making assumptions.

I think you have tried most things but I wanted to throw in one I know of. If you have pedals in the loop and you set them on the amp it gets an nasty hum. Moving the pedals off the top of the amp solved that.

Just an FYI that may or may not help.... GL and I hope it gets solved.

That sounds like badly shielded pedals and/or bad cables. If there's a full metal enclosure, there should be no RF leakage. To take the power cables out of the equation, does this happen when running the pedals on batteries too?

That said, the amp should be better shielded too, if this is a problem. In a gig setup, there can be plenty of RF sources in the vicinity of an amp.
