Well new to me anyway, and it is but ugly, a M-80
Image This was given to me, and it works, Very loud, the clean is not bad, the overdrive is well, loud and crunchy, from what I understand this was Fender's answer to metal, well the price was right

Probably a better-built Fender amp than what they currently manufacture. Those carpeted monsters aren't much to look at but they were pretty damn durable.

Rawk on!

+1, The Fender amps during this time frame have pretty good reliability! For SS, they sounded pretty good too! I have known a couple of guys that loved em, they were metal guys and they beat those puppies hard!

I concur.
The red knob S/S amps were pretty decent sounding for S/S and I have not heard of many reliability issues with them.
Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I have ever personally heard of an issue with one.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

They were still built "Fender tough" back then.

Built Fender tough.

Like back in the days when quality was Job One?

I thought you were a Delco man, Arjay
Wasn't expecting a Motorcraft post from you

Nothing wrong with Motorcraft or FoMoCo if one owns a vintage Mach 1 or Torino GT. In that regard I am an AC-Delco fan simply because I have an old Chevy. T'would be the same if I had a vintage Mopar.

So long as the vehicle is blue, I'm a happy camper.
