Hi there, I have been offered a quite nice one, black faced Serial-Nr. AC044176. I have been searching on the Fender homepage- is it correct that it`s supposed to have been built in 1990? And what would be a reasonable price (quite good condition, although comes without footswitch, and wheels added)?
Thanks a lot from Germany

The first re-issue Twin Reverbs were built in the old Sunn factory in Lake Oswego, Oregon and their serial numbers were formatted as "LO-XXXXX". It's unlikely the amp you contemplate purchasing is a 1990 edition. I believe production moved to Corona, California (serial number formatted as "AC-XXXXX") in the late 1990's. If the amp has a "ground" switch on the rear panel it was made sometime before 2005. The switch itself is a dummy and performs no function whatsoever.

Typical values for these amps on the secondary market spans $650 to $750 here in the US.
