I've wanted to check this out ever since I heard about this line, tried it out a couple of days ago and loved it. Well just came home with it and couldn't be happier this is the Ideal amp for me, great OD that cleans up great but will probably grab a delay for the loop! I will try it out with my 1x12 extension cab and see how that sounds with the added speaker I think it will be a great little stack!

They look so nice to me these amp and I'm a guy in love with old Blackface amps.

You obviously take exceptional care of your instruments, sir.

Just got a bassbreaker 15 and love the sound. This is my first tube amp so was wondering if there are any tips that are helpful for a newbie to tube amps. For instance, I usally power the amp on with it muted and wait a few minutes before switching off mute to play. I assume mute is like standby mode. Do you do anything in particular before powering it off?

Thanks.

Congrats on a sweet amp!

I always have the mute toggle off when powering on and shutting the amp off, other than that have fun with it. One thing to note is the Power amp mute toggle is just that its not a true standyby switch where it shuts off the High Voltage and just leaves the Filaments on but it comes in handy when taking a quick break and muting the speaker. I verified this when checking the bias on the power tubes!

Some people have problems with BB15: fx loop noise. Anyone with detailed knowledge on this?

I don't have the amp anymore and returned it for other reasons but mine was quiet but not perfectly quiet, I did notice if the fx loop cables were oriented towards the right side where the power transformer is it can get noisy so I place the cables so they were swinging around the input jack side and that just about got rid of any buzz.
