Brand new yesterday and out of the box it hums even when no volume is used. Is this normal with this amp? I use the high gain plug and it does not distort at any volume either on the guitar or amp. 4, 18, or 12 and it still is clean. I have a Tele Usa pro mod with a seymour duncan five two neck and 4 way switching. No breakup at any volume. Something is wrong with it and am returning it today and getting another one.

Help!

Return back to the store, could be bad tube ?

If it is the amp, you must hear the hum with nothing plug in the amp, amp alone.
Is your guitar and wire are working well on another amp ?

Yes the hum is when nothing is plugged in. All other amps work fine with wires and guitar!

Return the amp for a new one and listen it to the store more the few minutes. New fragiles components like tubes and other parts may take time before make noise.

The 600 does have a little hum out of the box. All class A amps hum more than push-pull amps.
The push-pull cancels hum effectively.
I have put a mod kit into a 600 for a customer a while back..
It uses a dropping resistor and another filter cap to reduce the hum to an inaudible level. There were a couple other parts for tone mods.
Its a nice amp to mod if you can't score an original
