It was a year ago when I bought my new Custom Deluxe Reverb. Since then, I have not done anything to it, but play it. It has become so sweet sounding and warm, Sounds so nice. Very dependable and just beautiful to look at! If anyone here is thinking about a great amp. Look at the 68 CDR. I am so glad I bought one finally. After going through a zillion amps in the last 35 years, I can say this is it!

That's what we all say.

Glad the amp is working out for you.

Funny you mention this because I'm debating between this and the Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 25 Combo! Really need something reliable and light (I have a bad back!) Tone is a must just coming off of modeling amps, line 6, Mustang IV v2, looking for a reliable gig able tube amp that can cover all types of music, I play most every weekend.

Not sure what your threshold is but the MB Recto-Verb 1x12 combo is 41 pounds.

Same here! I've had mine a year or so and love it.
I did put in the Cannabis Rex Speaker (because I had one) about 6 months ago and it's still in and sounding great. I like the 68 CDR so much I sold my Hot Rod Deluxe III amp and won't miss it at all.
