My Fender Twin Reverb Reissue makes crackling sounds. When I jiggle the internal speaker jack on the back of the amp it stops until I take my finger off. Hopefully this is something simple to fix. Does anyone have advice on this? Thanks.

Sounds like a cold solder joint -- either on the wiring harness's plug or the chassis's speaker output jack.

The jack shouldn't move. First try tightening the jack nuts. Be careful not to rotate the jack very much while tightening.
While you're at it, check the input jack nuts as well.
Then go around and tighten the handle screws, the speaker screws and the chassis mounting screws. Usually all are loose after a few years..

Thanks so much to each of you! It was a cold solder joint on the harness wiring which I cleaned up and re-soldered. Sounds better! I'll also check the things TimsAudio suggested. Although I've done simple fx pedal electronics I didn't want to touch the amp without good advice. -don't tell anyone I'm novice! :D

Do not over-tighten the speaker screws -- a quarter turn beyond finger tight is sufficient.

Rawk on!

As well, do not tighten them sequentially. Start with one, move clockwise to the fifth screw, then skip four more, and so on until all eight are snug. Basically the same principle as applied to installing a wheel rim on a motor vehicle.
