Have not been able to find a definitive answer but what's the difference between the blues Jr and the Jr III. Specs and tone diffs would be appreciated.

Physically, there are some changes.

Screw-on knobs

A retainer for the power tubes which is supposed to reduce tube-rattle. The jury is still out as to whether it works or not as it basically amounts to just a couple of rubber bushings.

Reversed direction of the writing on the control panel so it's easier to read when you turn around to adjust stuff when the amp is behind you, as in a typical stage setting.

A couple of caps have been changed to different values and one (C10, if I'm not mistaken) has been eliminated altogether; affecting high freq content making it a little brighter.

There were a few manufacturing changes as well. These were nothing a consumer would ever notice except in the way they improve longevity. Things like creating more room between components for heat dissipation and vibration isolation.

Sonically, they're pretty similar.

Others may chime in with additional info. I don't pretend to be an expert.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.

I love my new Jr. but this is still taking some getting used to.
