Did the test and have the faintest click. Nothing that could be described as a clack or loud sound what so ever. For whats it worth I have owned an amp or two in years past that did make a pretty loud sound when using footswitch in certain modes. My amp is factory stock with no mods.

I fix the loud "clack"or "click" with some mods . Now just a very very light click in the speaker.

My Blackface Vibrolux Reverb is dead quiet ......

Thank's so much

The fix to remove the loud "click " is to remove the wire from the stereo jack (tip) to V4 pin 2 *
Now I just have a very light click on speaker when switching tremolo ON and if I listen with no music / guitar playing .
Reverb is alway ON , I could shut it down with reverb knob . That is what my customer want .

E mail from my customer ; it look good to him but not sure if enough quiet :?
He did not play guitar long enough......

I do some test with 2 separate RCA jack like original vintage Fender amps , look completely quiet as these amps are .
For the test , these RCA jack was not through a 2 chassis holes . A next mod ?

* ( tip , gray wire on BMW2002TI schematic , previous page)

Is your customer's TRRI one of the newer models with the digital tremolo circuit?

I wouldn't trust Kendricks to fix a flashlight.

Oh ! Really .

Amp is well built , point to point circuit is a perfect copy of a AB763 with modern caps and resistor . Nothing to say about that . I will not do a better job

IMO it could be a issue with stereo jack match with AB763 but I don't know how and why .

paul_f , few post before write he have a faintest click , so he hear a click on original 65 TR

If the sonofabitch were a "perfect copy", there'd be no reason for this thread to exist.

......Which had to be shipped all over the North American continent for subsequent modification because the clowns who built it didn't get it right.

Perfect copy myass!

:roll:

If your client ever sat down with a calculator and totaled up all the money he's spent on that disaster, he'll find out that he could've bought an original AB763 Twin Reverb AND had money left over for spare tubes, new speakers, and several dinners at any five-star restaurant of his choice.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Today I was at Fender Visitor Center in Corona CA.

Short story ;
I try many amps and many do the noise , the " clack " i'm talking about in this post .
I ask to talk to somebody at Fender about that , they send me 2 nice guy but they don't know about amp's electronic .
They where surprise to hear the noise .
