Hi ,
The reverb is ON with foot switch and when I switch ON tremolo I hear a loud " clac" in speaker . No control by volume .
What about your 65 Twin Reverb ?

Reverb pot ; 4 or more . Louder at 10 than 4 .
Tremolo intensity , more than 4

Reverb OFF or reverb pot at 0 , no "clac " on tremolo

Thank's

Ground shield is at ground both sides, plug and jack .

Tremolo hot wire switch tremolo
Reverb hot wire switch reverb

I simulate a single switch for tremolo ; same loud "clac"

OK, got it. The TRRI has a couple of components not seen in the BF or SF TR. There is a cap hanging off the switch line, as well as another resistor. Maybe, these are bad or have cold solder points? Just a WAG.

See C37 and R75. C35 is the bias supply filter cap. This supplies C- to the tremolo circuit. Could also be leaky or dried out.

Good luck with the fix! Post your results.

Thank's for your answer BMW , but you don't know the story about this (mine ) amp .
It was converted to AB763 by Kendrick .

More story later ,

First I wish a answer to my question to stock 65 TR owners.

Did the tremolo have the problem before Kendrick "converted" it?

Thank's BMW 202Ti and Retroverbial ;

All components are good, solders too . I check everything very carefully .

1- If I use the stereo input jack with any kind of switches and /or separate wires , shielded or not I hear the loud "clac".

2- If I mod the switching like original AB753 ; two RCA input jacks , everything work fine , quiet .

3- If I disconnect the wire ( stereo jack ) for reverb switching from V4 pin 1 ,( AB763 circuit ) no more loud "clac" . Quiet .
Reverb is alway ON but that's my customer want . He always use reverb .
We can switch tremolo ON and OFF.

On 65 TR reissue different components may do the job to use a single stereo jack, to remove the spark . On AB763 , this jack do not work , two single RCA jack work . Why ???

I'll live the amp like that unless my customer ask to mod to two input RCA jacks .

Thank's BMW2002Ti , I appreciate your help

Just receive e-mail from my customers , amp always do a "clac" whith original circuit and before it go to kendricks for mod to AB763.

So my question to 65 TRRI owners ; what about the "clac" when reverb is ON an you switch to tremolo ?

There is no "clack" when switching the trem on under those conditions with my 1999 model. No "tick", no noise at all, quiet as a church mouse.

Thank's for answer .

You do this test ? reverb knob at 10 , tremolo intensity at 10

Push ON tremolo switch.

No guitar , no playing . You did not ear a light "click " ?
