On the clean channel I want a full, 1//2 mellow tone that will still quack when I change my strat's pickup switch. I the dirty channel I want a marshall-like saturated long sustain for those sexy blues notes and solos, but without a lot of dirt (not metal-music-like). Any suggested settings for both channels? or perhaps a website with such suggestions? Many thanks fellow guitarists!

Well I own a Champion 100. I like it. I like the 2-12"" spkrs, open back tones and the wattage. The amp is simple enough to just dial in what sounds good. I suggest using external effects if you have them for combined effects. Channel 1 as you know, is based on a Twin Reverb model. Try some chorus and delay/reverb FX for some mellow tones. Trouble is, the built in FX is only two effects at a time. I like some reverb too, so I use a pedal. End up with three effects blended. Channel 2. You probably know which sounds you like, dependent on the guitar, so I'll leave that blues Marshall tone up to you. You got the gain control, amp select, add effects.

I wish Fender combined Ch1 with Ch2, select both Ch.’s on at the same time. That way you could choose effects from both channels in series, like Reverb, Chorus, and Delay, etc., yielding more combinations.
