I'm sure this will be fine but I want to be absolutely sure. I'm getting ready to put in these speakers. It looks like there is some glue and material blocking the mounting holes. Can I just poke these out? Thanks.

Better to carefully cut away the excess felt with an X-acto knife.

This amp is extremely loud. I can't really base a comparison to how it was before, the last time I used it was about 12 years ago and it had a broken chipboard baffle with a JBL K140 15" speaker in it. It sounds really amazing clean and through the Reverb tank.

Sounds like it's performing to specs.
