There's always a lot of usable information presented here on this forum. And it's incumbent upon us to absorb as much of it as we can.

I just receive a e-mail from my customer ,his Pro Reverb blackface was his favorite amp before he listen his Deluxe Reverb after I fine tune it .

Now he love so much his D R , he will bring me his Pro Reverb .

The greatest change in tone I do is to lowering power supply voltage with the zeners

This is a very interesting quest, but am not sure about your method to reduce a treble response; normally a higher HT voltage will give you more headroom. I have always understood that heat decreases a tube's life.....or current (moving electrons) and current is the thing that generates heat in all amps.

Yeah, too much voltage may exceed the rating of a valve and subsequently create too much current or flash-over within the valve envelope; this should not happen if you have the original PT in the Deluxe........If I were trying to limit highs or balance in more low frequencies in the Deluxe, then consider increasing the coupling cap entering the driver stage to .01 mf and/or taking out the 47pf around the vol pot - good luck

The AC mains input ground (green wire) would not be normally connected to the transformer HT center tap chassis ground point as seen in your pic. It should be connected to the chassis right at or close to the point where the AC comes into the chassis; something to consider

This is true but only to the extent that the current has exceeded the design parameters for a given tube.

Responsibility for decreasing a tube's expected service life under normal operating conditions is determined primarily by the number of times it's powered up and powered down. IOW, pretty much like an incandescent light bulb.

I can just say my customer love his DR since this mod . Before that he was thinking a Deluxe Reverb was not the great amp as we often ( always ? ) read .

Nothing more than a few 10 volts Zeners

I just receive a 1964 Deluxe Reverb

This one as a "correct" / safe voltage at 420 volts plate voltage and 20 ma 6V6's bias

Can we say power transformer can be out of spec on some amps ?
