Hey, that vintage Concert Series C15N looks very familiar.

I contacted Rodgers Amps, I may just buy the whole setup from them. I would build it myself (and probably should at this point) but I will find out what to do when they get back to me. At this point I think this amp will end up being sold after it is finished. I already have enough money into a baffle, getting official Fender grill cloth, and now getting the hardware.

Be advised, FMIC no longer sells the vintage-spec metal corners so you'll need to go aftermarket. The Ernie Ball repro's are a perfect fit and can be found on Ebay for ten or twelve bucks (set of four, with mounting screws). Dittos if the cab needs new glides on the bottom. The only ones that Fender currently offers are nearly twice the diameter of the originals, resembling stainless-steel bagels.

It should! And one of the best things you ever talked me into! It is one screaming good speaker! Has that vintage Fender breakup that can only come from a Jensen!

It sounded ballsy as hell in my '64 Pro Amp. The only reason I let it go was, it was a '65 loudspeaker and I wanted the amp to be a "numbers matching" specimen with a correct teal green '64 Jensen C15N.

A friend of mine have a Fender looking cab built by a carpenter in is small chop for cheap close from his home. Finger joint wood box is a beginner job in carpentry/ furniture cabinet school.

The only difficult part is you have to give the cabinet size you want
My friend make a mistake and order a new cab and give me the cab , I see the very good job by the carpenter.

VIntage corner ; tubesandmore ?

Cabinetry work, whether a restoration or a reproduction, is not rocket surgery. But it does require attention to detail and patience.

Not for a simple wood box for a amp . It is a beginner projet for a cabinet maker .

+1 !!

It's very easy to overlook a single detail, such as accounting for the thickness of the Tolex and grillcloth around the chassis, baffle and rear strut areas. If you don't account for it, it will make final assembly difficult to near-impossible. 8)

Also, you need to determine the center of gravity before making the speaker cutout and drilling the holes for the handle. Get this wrong, and it can easily tip over and/or make carrying it difficult (especially with an oversized cabinet and the weight of a 12" Jensen like mine).

I was very anxious once I started actually cutting the wood on the cab I just built, that I had all the correct dimensions. Fortunately, I did.

cheers!
