Wow, I have a lot of questions! This is a mindbender.

This amp has OB codes on the tube chart and "Production #2) dating it to Feb 65. The faceplate is FEIC, pre -CBS. The transformer code dates to 64, and the chassis serial number dates to 65. The tube chart says it is an AA864, but I'm not sure what circuit it is. The amp is completely original and I'm taking it to my tech soon for a filter cap change and tube check. He's a very good fender guru who's done all of my vintage amps.

Here's the pics:

The bias circuit seems to resemble the AA864 configuration and most of the parts seem to belong to the pre-CBS era. A nice, clean, unmolested specimen overall. New electrolytics overall (filter, bypass, and bias) would be a worthwhile insurance policy

I agree with Arjay, and a beautiful Bassman it is too! Nothing like the tones that come from these. Enjoy it.

Nice.........looks really clean for it's age. Amazing to think that even the logo would go for seventy bucks on fleaBay.
I hope she sounds as good as she looks :)

Great amp! I set my drip edge Bassman back to AA864. The NORMAL channel sounds better than when the amp was original AB165 setup.

Hey! Enjoy the tones. :D
