Saw this tube on another board. Has similar characteristics to the 5751. One of Raytheon's better small signal tubes. Will try it out, along with a Brimar CV4085 (mil spec ECC83), I was given. See how they stack up against known 12AX7/ECC83 types.

Interesting. The price is good for a quality brand NOS and the adapter. You might have found a great bargain if they are as good as they appear.

I wonder why they changed the pin out arrangement for this tube. :?:

The pinout is different in the 5755. Adapter corrects for this. If this tube sounds anything like the Raytheon black plate 5751... maybe a nice find. Let you know.

A taller tube shield will be required if the 5755 tube and adapter is used. I would source that before ordering any of those bottles.
