Post subject: Question about the "+" and "-" from the jack

Hello everyone,could someone tell me which cable are the "+" and "-"? the white or the brown?

Well, I'm no expert, but in the wiring of the speakers in your photo, I don't see that 3 of the speakers, the ones with the red and black wiring, should even work. I don't see any continuity from the black and white wiring coming from the main lead from the amp.

Here's a photo my 1968 Super Reverb wiring. The white wire is the + to all the speakers.

I got to agree with Jerry on this one.

Mark you might try a new harness, as your amp is completely missing one. You can get them on Ebay all day long, or use the pics and make one, either way your amp needs a new one to function properly at a 2 Ohm load.

Your configuration is bad on the out put transformer. Back to your question if you take a meter and disconnect wires from the speaker and from the jack, place one end on the tip of the plug and touch the other end to one of the wires, and if the meter shows continuity that would be the + side for your speakers if not it would be the - side, and to make sure touch the shield on the jack and the wire should than show continuity
