Post subject: 12axt tube are getting too hot

Hello everyone,again I need your help please,its my super reverb "73 one of the 12axt is getting too hot,more than the others,but is working fine,what could be the issue?

You have a shorted triode section. Sub in another 12AX7. That should get rid of the problem.

Not sure if you meant 12AX7 or 12AT7, but the T7's seem to me to always run hotter due to the higher current passing through them.
If possible, i try not using tube shields which retain more heat.

That is a 12AT7 (reverb driver). And no... this is NOT normal. One anode is definitely red plating. This section is hard on the tube. Get a good 12AT7 replacement. I recommend a mil spec Sylvania/Philips 12AT7WC.

I did'nt look close enough to see that red plating tube......my bad.
I've never seen that happen in a preamp tube before.
