Greeting's Gent's!

I'm a newby,

I'm a Marshall/Gibson guy, but I've been playing Strat's for the last 5 years. I just joined the blog to give praise to the '57 Twin (Reissue). I've had mine for 6 months and was ready to part ways with it. That is, 'til I removed one of it's rectifier tubes. I was looking for the dirty sound, and living in a condo didn't afford me the opportunity to crank it wide open in order to achieve that. Now I'm in heaven! I employ a Boss OD3 in addition to reach that level. I'm ready to catch fastballs or praise.

I'm ready for feedback to help me enjoy it even more (if possible). 8)

This is fine. Note the rectifier tube may not last as long. But, good NOS 5U4GB are relatively easy to find. I like blackplate Tungsols. But, USA RCA, GE, Sylvania, etc... are all very good rectifiers.
