I have a '69 Super Reverb, and I sometimes have serious buzzing through the amp. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does always happen in the same venues. These are also the venues where I occasionally get shocked by my mic, so some grounding problem is obviously in play here.

The amp is all original except for the power supply cord, which has been replaced (a LONG time ago) with the same sort of two-pronged plug it originally had.

Should I replace the power supply cord with a three-pronged grounded plug, and if so is this something I can do or should I pay an amp tech to do it?

Thanks!
Christopher
