Schumacher date codes and chassis stamps seem to indicate 1962; at that price looks pretty good. Buy it, sell the Celestion Blues and put in some properly rated Kendrick or Warehouse Speakers and you have an amazing amp.

Saw in another forum, but I'm full on Fender amps for now... happy hunting.

Looks like a decent job on the re-telexing, but I have seen better, nice job on the grill cloth, nice and straight, and he includes the original back, not too shabby. The price to me seems right for a re-furbed (i.e., non original amp)...that tolex is only original once.

Thanks for sharing Nedo as it would make a nice gigging amp.

Good point on the Tolex; I didn't catch that. I'm less concerned on cosmetics than the original transformers and caps, which appear to be in good order.

My guess is that the lister's spelling "Baseman" is why no one has bought it yet - it's escaping normal searches...

Could be...or maybe because he loaded the cab with 16 ohm speakers and wired it for 8 ohms but the amp needs 4 ohms. Might be why the price is lower too! If I got to replace the speakers right off the bat or mate it with another 8 ohm cab just to use it...???

Either way, the cost is good and it is a looker for sure!
