Looking at the MOJOTONE website for grill cloth to re-do my Bassman.

It shows a couple of possible versions.

Fender Style Beige Brown Grill Cloth / 36'' W
and

Fender Style Beige Brown w/ Gold Stripe Grill Cloth / 57'' W

I think the cloth that was original to it was the one w/gold stripe.

Before I pull the trigger, just wanted to be sure of not only the type but the quantity needed.
Also, do any of you have any experience with this product/company?

Any other options I might entertain?

Thanks again.

Thanks.

If that is the Bassman you want to replace the grill cloth on, might I suggest you try taking it off and Cleaning it? I have done this on two different Bantam Bass Amps that I have refurbed. Once you remove it, spray it with 409, you can soak it pretty good and then rinse it out, you will be surprised about how much dirt will come out. Then lay it flat and let it dry. Reinstall, I did the top first then bottom, but made sure to keep the sides somewhat tight (I put a couple staples in to keep it straight), worked great.

If not and you decide to replace your cloth (this will affect your value vs. cleaning the original) then IIRC, the gold thread is the right type for your year of amp. However, NO ONE makes an exact replacement for any of the old Fender Grill cloths. They never have the weave tight enough or small enough...but they do a pretty good job. Mojo is a fine company to deal with, I have quite a few times over the years and they are very easy to deal with.
