New here, but been around for decades. Got this recently, and have no reason (other than it's unusual) to think it's a replacement. (BTW, I've had hundreds of old amps over the years, have seen odd stuff before, just not this one). Purportedly never worked on (nothing seems changed)?? Anyone have an idea????????? http://www.gbase.com/powered/geardetail ... em=3322767

A 59 Fender Harvard would have come with a Jensen P10R. I had one that was all original, and like a fool let it go...but that's another story for another time.

The speaker in question there is not original IMHO. I can't tell who manufactured either, can't read the EIA code. Anyone else?

Oh and Welcome to the Forum! Lots of good folks here.

From the photo looks like the EIA manufacturer's code = 256. I'm at work, no access to list --- but "256" doesn't ring a bell.

012 = (1960, 70, 80). 12th week.

+1...But "256" is not on any of the lists I have!

I realize it's a mystery speaker. I (really) have easily had 200 tweeds pass through my hands, and on a rare occasion (or 2) had original oddballs. Not this odd though. Thanks for looking.
