HI, I have a 84' Fender Super Champ. Its a 110 combo as you know. Was wondering where to get a cab to convert it into a 112 combo? I run it into a 112 cab sometimes but, I would rather have a 112 grab & go combo!

JD Newell or Larry Rodgers might be able to help you out -- both offer custom cabs built to customer specs.

Likely, nothing. You'll have to request a quote for a custom build and give them time to calculate the cost.

Nice as they are, the Super Champ was not a "mainstream" Fender model, being available for only some two years.

Can you replace only the baffle with 12 inches speaker ?

That'd be a mighty tight squeeze -- the stock cab is only 13-7/8" tall. It really needs to be about fifteen inches to provide adequate chassis space.

There is not much room in there even with a 10" speaker! I am going to need a bigger combo cab for sure. Its a great amp but it sounds so much better through a 12" speaker

+1

As well, the larger speaker offers more brand/model possibilities. A Kendrick or Reverend Alltone would work well with the Super Champ platform.

Built a second cab with a 12 inches , keep you Super Champ original . You can use this second cab with many other amps in the futur

Would a 90's SS Princeton 112 work? Cosmetics would be close from the get go. Could probably find one cheap ($60-70) to gut out.

I don't think the chassis will fit properly in a Princeton cab. The Princeton has a different size faceplate i think?? Running it into a separate 112 cab is a great idea which i have done before with good results, but i would like to keep it in a combo format. I've seen these converted into head format as well. Similar to the Superchamp X2

Have an all-new cab built.

Original specs......solid pine case, finger-joined corners, removable speaker baffle.
