Cool. Both it and the Bandmaster are pretty rare indeed.

I've got a '60 Center Volume Concert too. It has original Jensen P10Rs, but they have all been reconed now. I'd post a photo, but I can't figure out how to do this!

This may help.

To post a photo. Go to Photobucket. Or some online site to share media. Upload your photos.

For Photobucket:

1.) Click onto photo you wish to post. See "Links to Share The Photo" on the right side?

2.) Now, scroll your mouse (the computer's mouse :lol: ) over the IMG address window.

3.) Left click onto address window.

4.) It will say: "Copied"

5.) Now, paste the copied IMG address into the window of this Forum.

6.) So... this:

{URL=http://s1191.photobucket.com/user/BMW2002Ti/media/IMG_0397.jpg.html]{IMG}http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z461/BMW2002Ti/IMG_0397.jpg{/IMG}{/URL}

7.) Becomes this, when the { } that I placed into address line is kept as the original [ ]:

Hi theeMadcap

I have one the same - reverse volume knob. Came out to Australia on a tour in 1959 - tour with Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent. Leo sent it with them and the guitarist from the Australian support act (Johnny O'Keefe) bought it from them (a common way in those days for touring band members to make a bit of money and good / latest gear to be secured here in Oz).

Given that we know this tour occurred end '59, I always call mine a '1959 prototype'. Leo was often sending out gear for feedback from performers.

My S/n is 00581. Has 4 blue Jensens.

thanks for your post and prompting me

cheers
