All I have to show is my 65 Pro Reverb, brought back to life with the help of some good people in here.

No need for feelings of inadequacy with that! We do seem to have a dearth of Pro Reverbs here on the forum...always nice to see one especially a nice one like yours!

Amen. Although I'm sure there's some folks who have a lot of amps, or especially expensive/vintage ones, who might consider the whole thing some sort of warped competition, hopefully most don't. There will always be someone else with more, or nicer, so there's no point in the whole "conspicuous consumption" mindset.

I love my amps, and seeing all the cool stuff everyone else has too!

Happy Christmas everyone.

Thanks T2 and Brian. It's cool. I've had other, lesser amps but they are gone now. I also have my first practice amp which is a solid state red knob Princeton Chorus 2X25 but it needs a good cleaning so I didn't post any photos.

The Pro Reverb above has been with me for a very long time and just this year had the (not original) speakers , filter caps and a couple of worn pots replaced. It was a ton of fun bringing it back to life.

Lots of incredible amps on display in here. Anyone else besides me look at the pics and try to imagine the personality and tone from each of those amps? It's like trying to taste candy through a window. :D

I like the analogy! Some of these amps are like candy!

But if only these amps could talk about all the music that has been run through them!

I have had several amps through out the years.
I presently have a old Vibro Camp and two pro tube 94 Twins. I had been wanting a Twin for a while. I bought a mint condition one at a great price and then 3 days later a great deal on a trade came around so I have one I use all the time and a .....back up?

I have an old Peavey Bravo that is fun to play through too.

Same with guitars or anything vintage which is why I like to old gear of all kinds. Show me something as old or older than I am and has been through countless towns and bars and heard every hard luck story there ever was and that's the one I will want to bring home, and the uglier the better. I'm speaking hardware only. I am also drawn like a moth to flame for certain software that's smooth and firm. Just cant afford them both. :D
